Alberta Synod

Synod of Alberta and Territories

This Synod oversees the spiritual care of its members in Whitehorse (Yukon) and Yellowknife (Northwest Territories), as well as one close to our border in Saskatchewan. In cooperation with the Anglican Church of Canada, other mainline Protestant denominations and para-church organizations, the Synod of Alberta and Territories effectively provides spiritual care for all its members throughout the synod.

Our service is reflected in many ways through the various ministries we undertake with the Synod of Alberta and Territories. The three areas of responsibility of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories are within: 1) the congregations we serve; 2) the areas in which these congregations are located; and 3) the Rostered Ministers who serve in those churches.
